Has everyone ben enjoying the sunshine?! Well we have had a blast and finally managed to cut our lawn this weekend, finally! We always say that we take one day off a week, Sunday, to make sure we are well rested and ready for whatever the woking week has in store. No two days are the same in this industry.

However, sometimes buildings do not realise it is a 'day off' and when they need to be maintained then we have to be ready just like this Sunday... look at that photo! Yikes!!

We know that some people get fed up with the changes in legislation, metal boxes for housing the RCD units have never seemed so important. This example in the picture is of a mains switch that caught on fire in a local flat. Luckily this was not the middle of the night and was noticed relatively soon. 

If the box had been plastic, and had gone unnoticed, then the whole thing could have melted and caused significant damage or even loss of life.
